Señora de 66 años muere tras ser atropellada por un auto en Queensen Helmhurst
El conductor involucrado permaneció en la escena.
Dicho incidente ocurrió, este viernes por la mañana, en la intersección de la avenida 57 y la calle Van Horn, en el sector de Elmhurst.
Al llegar a la escena, la Policía halló a la mujer identificada como Masae Takeda, de 66 años, tendida en el suelo con golpes severos en el cuerpo.
Personal de emergencias confirmó la muerte de la mujer en la escena.
Una investigación preliminar determinó que el conductor de una camioneta Infitini negra realizaba un giro a la derecha hacia la avenida 57, al momento del atropellamiento.
Las autoridades continúan investigando el incidente.
